Depuis Picasso, il est devenu pratiquement impossible d'emprunter un chemin nouveau, original et porteur de sens dans l'univers de la peinture. Ce que je présente est un simple exercice et ne doit pas être pris pour l'illustration d'une quelconque conception que je me fais de l'art. Je ne suis même pas sûr de ma destination. Mais une chose est certaine, c’est que mes peintures ne dissimulent rien d'autre que ce qu'elles donnent à voir.

Since the time of Picasso it becomes almost impossible to find a fresh, original as well as a meaningful path to undertake ones journey in painting. What I am presenting is just an exercise and should not be taken as the example of my idea about what it should be. I am not even sure about my destination but one thing is sure that my paintings are what they are before the eyes. They are not meant to conceal anything which the eyes do not see.
